About Me
I have been interested in wildlife since I was a child, getting out into nature every chance I get. Since I got a DSLR camera I have taken it everywhere for those random wildlife encounters that occur when you least expect them! Starting the Nature Photo a Day project has helped me to get better at narrowing down my photos for the best ones of the day and to be more critical of my own work. It can be difficult to capture something new each day when you have limited time and the wildlife will not cooperate or it's winter with a blanket of snow everywhere and not even a Chickadee in sight! to counter this I have had to think of creative ways to find something interesting wherever I happen to be. This has helped me to appreciate that there is nature all around us, you just have to take a few minutes a day to see it wherever you happen to be.
